WHEN TO CHOOSE THE THERMAL CORK PLASTER FOR WALL INSULATION?
It is not always possible to make a thermal insulation external or internal coat with the panels of cork or hemp fiber. The reasons are many: the technical difficulties of the coat in panels and the urban constraints of many facades prevent the realization of the thermal coat in natural fiber panels. Here is that the thermal plaster is the ideal solution in these cases: it can be applied inside as outside, to obtain energy savings with an insulation thanks to the cork and hemp plaster healthy and breathable.
BETTER TO HAVE THE PLASTER THERMAL HEMP AND CORK OUTSIDE OR INSIDE?
When there is a need to redo the plaster, both internal and external, choose the thermal plaster, you will get two results: new healthy and breathable plaster and thermal insulation of the walls. It is advisable to apply thermal plaster both internally and externally for good overall insulation.
The application of the thermal plaster of cork can also be usefully associated with the insufflation of granular cork for the insulation of empty spaces if present, or the thermal coating with panels of cork inside as outside the perimeter walls.
PREMIXED PLASTER OF HEMP, CORK AND HYDRAULIC LIME
In order to guarantee the healthiness and breathability of the surfaces, we recommend a thermo-plaster based on natural hydraulic lime, hemp and cork without cement and chemical substances.

CORK, LIME AND EARTHENWARE PLASTER
Mixing grains of cork dim 0-3 mm with slaked lime seasoned and powdered earthenware red or yellow, you get a great insulating plaster. The idea realized by Artimestieri takes its cue from the ancient recipe of the plaster of lime and earthenware: the "novelty" is to replace the sand, contained in the original recipe, with an equal volume of granulated cork.
The mixture is characterized by an excellent mechanical strength achieved thanks to the presence of the grain of cocciopesto and an excellent insulating power thanks to the grain of cork.
The kit consists of granulated cork in a brown paper bag, slaked lime aged at least 12 months and powdered earthenware grain size 0-3mm to be mixed on site in the doses indicated.
The lime, earthenware and cork plaster is a genuine product made from only natural materials.
The lime and earthenware plaster is suitable for both interiors and exteriors, excellent for giving healthiness to the environment, thanks to the macroporous and breathable structure.

Excellent for indoor and outdoor plastering. The insulating plaster with lime, earthenware and cork mixed with added water can be applied by hand or by machine. The natural colouring makes the plaster aesthetically pleasing without having to apply additional finishes or paints.
The excellent vapour permeability also offers a good dehumidifying function. The authenticity and simplicity of the recipe makes the cork plaster suitable for old walls and the construction of new plasters.
