PRIMER CENTRI STORICI - TEXTURED BRUSH PRIMER

Primer Centri Storici is a mineral primer based on seasoned slaked lime.

It regulates absorption and promotes adhesion for lime-based products. Suitable for low absorbent surfaces.

Slightly roughened, it gives homogeneous absorption to the surface.

For indoor-outdoor use.

COMPONENTS

Marble powder, calcium carbonates, slaked lime, silica sand, cellulose thickener, vinyl dispersion less than 4%, starch.

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION AND APPLICATION

For a correct and lasting application of the product, respect the following indications:

The substrates to be treated must be sound, consistent, homogeneous, clean, free of mould, lichen, greasy and/or oily residues, dust and/or particles of any kind and damaged by rising damp. Any loose and unstable parts must be removed in order to restore the optimal suitability of the substrate, a necessary condition for the correct application of the product.

Primer Centri Storici cannot be applied on existing old or new paint layers unless it is first checked that they are perfectly anchored, that the necessary degree of absorption has been achieved and that the tensile strength of a mineral coating has been verified. If the underlying layers do not meet these requirements, complete or partial removal is recommended.

On new lime and cement based plasters apply our Fissativo Ecologico.  

Apply on plasters based on natural hydraulic lime and slaked lime.

On substrates where it is necessary to uniform the surface both in presence of small imperfections and in presence of differences in absorption, apply our Fissativo Ecologico.  

On finished gypsum-based surfaces, it is necessary to check the compatibility with the Centri Storici Primer on site; if there is a marked dusting or abnormal absorption, it is necessary to proceed with our Fissativo Ecologico.

On plasterboard and plasterboard it is best to level the entire surface with our Stucco Naturale.

Then proceed with our Fissativo Ecologico.

Stir well before and during use. 

Allow 6-8 hours between coats, ensuring that the surface is evenly dry. The working temperature of the surface must be between 7°C and 30°C, and the ambient humidity must not exceed 80%, both during application and in the following 48 hours.

PRODUCT COLOURING

Spring Color colours are obtained from natural pigments and produced in an artisanal way.

Any differences in shade are attributable to the natural variability of the soils and raw materials, the substrate, the correct dispersion process, the origin of the pigments, climatic conditions and the experience of the applicator. experience of the applicator. Spring Color colours its finishes with selected and tested earthy pigments and oxides.
